Not your typical summer festival of classical music, Ryedale’s range of musical styles and willingness to take risks makes this a must-attend on the Festival circuit, not only because the performances are so good but also because the welcome is warm.
Now in its 40th year Ryedale Festival has attracted an impressive array of classical music artists from across the UK and further afield including the Albion Quartet, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Abel Selaocoe, and Jess Gillam. Also appearing this year are Solem Quartet, Tenebrae, Carolyn Sampson and guitarist Milos.
Pianist Christopher Glynn is the Artistic Director of Ryedale Festival. Events run until 31 July 2021. More information and tickets available via the Rydedale Festival website.
