Nicola Benedetti has in a relatively short space of time developed a worldwide reputation for captivating audiences. She won the BBC Young Musician competition in 2004. Sixteen years later she secured a GRAMMY for Best Classical Instrumental Solo. The Scottish violinist is also a renowned educator launching the Benedetti Foundation for young people early 2020 to critical acclaim.

She was appointed a CBE in 2019, awarded the Queen’s Medal for Music in 2017, and an MBE in 2013
