What’s on at the Royal Overseas League #EdFringe Concerts 2021?

Driven by the challenges brought about by COVID restrictions this year, the Royal Overseas League Edinburgh Fringe concert series supported by the Roderick Lakin Memorial Fund is being staged in London from 11-15 August.

A similar format to previous years is being presented with three concerts mid-morning, mid-afternoon and early evening for five days. Tickets are £7 (if you’re a member of the Royal Overseas League then its £5), and there’s a drink thrown in at the end too. Season tickets for all 15 concerts are on sale for £70 to non-members, with live stream season tickets available for £35.

Many of the Royal Overseas League’s finest competition winners make an appearance at this year’s recital series including Maltilde Milwidsky, Jonathan Radford, Sian Dicker, the Solem Quartet, and Roberto Ruisi.

I’m especially looking forward to Ben Schoeman and Tesa Uys’ piano duet performance of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 3 (be sure to read the review of their recent SOMM release).
