A sharply observed well-timed skewering of the fetishisation of mental health terrestrial broadcasters have indulged in. Partridge demonstrates his continued commitment to broadcasting despite a slew of brutally terminated contracts, drawing on a wealth of archive material from the many broadcast organisations he’s worked for. There are plenty of nods to present day visual tropes, making Partridge’s production team remaining true to their predecessors works. A welcome return for Lynn, and great to see Sidekick Simon thriving. Partridge’s appeal is found in him being both a tragic car crash and someone you root for despite the odds. Polished stuff.
