Review- Katie Price: Nothing to Hide (Sky Docs)

Tight production, unequivocally warm contributors, and a mildly annoying producer. Even if you’re not a fan of Katie Price, this is a must watch.

Katie Price is the Godmother of influencers. An entrepreneurial spirit borne out of unresolved childhood trauma. This four-parter on Sky Docs is beautifully shot (even if the producer’s interjections feel so knowing as to make it feel a little scripted in places), and the story authentically told. There is evident warmth in Price’s family. The final episode brings a tear to the eye. Katie Price’s resilience is undeniable. Her mother is salt-of-the-earth stuff. Ex-husband Peter Andre secured himself an own-goal by refusing to take part. Cage fighter Alex Reid matches Price’s vulnerability (and retains his handsome good looks), so too Gareth Gates (whose disappointing panto appearance in Bromley in 2024 is now a thing of the past as far as I’m concerned). Even if you’re not in any way interested in the Katie Price brand, this is worthy of your time. A shame they didn’t reference her bold Eurovision attempt.
